Roy Tosh Reaching The World

“We aren’t meant to live in isolation. We learn so much by just showing up.”

Roy Tosh is a Billboard-charting artist, husband, and father of four.

His latest album, ‘We Still Believe,’ his remix EP, and his collabs with CHH artists and legends have propelled him to be a constant on Christian radio and festival stages.

The artist’s faith journey began over 19 years ago in an unexpected way.

“In 2005, a Pastor from Detroit Michigan led me to Jesus through an email,” the rapper shared. “He dared me to get alone and surrender to Jesus. I did and my whole life changed!”

One of those changes led to Tosh’s current career.

“It was then, out of nowhere, I started writing songs and producing music,” he recalled. “I realized through a simple tool like music, you could reach millions of people across the world.”

Tosh added, “And it’s this simple desire as to why I continue today: reach just one more with the love of Christ through the music He’s given me to share with the world.”

It’s that love of Christ that Tosh treasures in his life; and the artist takes daily steps to grow closer to the Creator.

“If I want to know my wife more, the only way to do that is to spend time with her. It’s no different with God,” Tosh explained.

“God is a person who desires us to know Him (John 17:3),” he continued. “So simple Bible reading with the goal being to know Him goes a long way.”

The artist uses prayer throughout his day; giving him the opportunity to speak to God and set an example for his own family.

“I have four children, so I pray with them and look for opportunities to disciple them,” the dad shared.

Tosh believes in the importance of community and the value of showing up, whether it’s at a church service, Bible study or other activities.

“Staying connected to the body of Christ is the only way we can grow closer to Him.”
