Finding Freedom: I Am Cricchi

“My art is my true freedom in life.” 

I Am Cricchi is an artist who puts God and his family first in his life. 

Inspired by the peace he finds when creating music, Cricchi releases tracks that allow him to be authentic.

“Music gives me an outlet where I can be myself,” the rapper shared.

Cricchi focuses on the creative process of his art, letting his lyrics, feelings, and experiences speak to his audience.

The artist discovered that when his mind would fall into self doubt, creating music would be the healing he needed. 

“In music I find love for myself; I find confidence in my words and my movements,” he stated.

Cricchi realized that by being open and honest about his feelings and experiences, his music could help others.

Through music, he learned to quiet the internal lies that were telling him he wasn’t good enough or that he didn’t deserve God’s blessings in his life. 

His advice to aspiring artists is to be yourself even when being yourself may not be accepted or seen as normal by people or the world. He utilizes this advice in his own life, as well. 

The artist says that he believes there is no road map to life, but he offers valuable insight for the journey. 

“It’s about creating; and through your creation, you inspire others,” he says. “The greatest human act is to inspire; and if you hold all of your creativity in due to “what ifs” then you’ll never achieve your true potential.”

Cricchi believes that if you have a passion to create art, and that if your art is something you truly want, then putting in the work until you believe in yourself is key. 

He shares this important advice, “Aim for the stars, and fire away.”
